On Friday I was really excited as I picked these up - I wanted to see how the printing had come out. They look even better than I imagined they would! I am so pleased. These are in my suitcase having just arrived at SOAR along with Beth and me. If you're going to Rhinebeck, Toni Neil of The Fold will have them in her booth...
Beth, Abby and I are here in the Poconos attending the Spin Off Autumn Retreat (SOAR). In case you don't know about SOAR, it's a wonderful retreat for spinners with top notch teachers, passionate participants and lots of fiber!
Have you ever wondered what a room full of 200 spinners would look like?
All of these fiber hounds are raptly listening to this lovely woman...
This is Amy Clarke Moore, the editor of Spin-Off, welcoming us all to SOAR 2008! Tomorrow the classes begin in earnest, but for today it was a time to catch up with old friends, make new friends, settle in and show off our latest skills, toys and creations.
I believe a good time was had by all....

What's the story behind the lady who seems to be wearing a costume of some kind?
